FORGED-IN-FIRE Handcrafted Glass

In a 5000 degree F flame, artisan, Paul Bingham works molten boro silicate glass; melding and fusing glass colors to create pieces of lasting beauty, each individually hand crafted in the flame. Even with thousands of hours under his belt Paul never stops learning and developing and loves the endless challenge of working glass. Paul became hooked in Peurto Vallarta, Mexico watching a "lampworker" creating pieces from molten glass then announced to his wife, Barb, he was going to learn this challenging art form. And, he did just that. In his home studio in Mount Uniacke, Nova Scotia Paul spends his days making whimsical hummingbirds, dragonflies, sealife, flowers, marbles just to mention a few of his creations. Barb runs the day to day operations, social media, marketing and is the friendly face selling FORGED-IN-FIRE Handcrafted Glass at the Shows/Markets.
