Social Media Promotion Prizes
Nova Scotia Art and Craft Show $200 Shopping Spree Giveaway – Official Rules and Regulations
- Eligibility: The Nova Scotia Art and Craft Show $200 Shopping Spree Giveaway is open to all legal residents of Canada who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Employees (Board Members) of the Nova Scotia Art and Craft Show Society and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
- Entry Period: The giveaway begins on October 3, 2025 and ends on November 3, 2025, at 11:59pm (Eastern Standard Time).
- How to Enter:
- To enter the giveaway, participants must like one of the designated giveaway posts on our Facebook and/or Instagram page and comment with their answer to the question: “If you win the $200 shopping spree, what’s the first item you’d love to grab at the event or if you can’t decide, just let us know who are bringing with you!?”
- To gain extra entries, participants may comment on any post on our Facebook and/or Instagram pages designated as being part of the competition indicated by the tag #WINSPREE25 which will be present in the post description.
- Prize: One (1) winner will receive one $200 shopping spree at the Nova Scotia Art and Craft Show, which takes place on November 7 & 8, 2025, at the Cedar Event Center, 111 Clayton Park Drive, Halifax. The winners will be provided with shopping vouchers that may be redeemed with any exhibitor at the 2025 show. Not redeemable for cash. No change is given for unused portions of any shopping vouchers. Prizes not claimed by the end of the show will be forfeited. Shopping vouchers not used at the show specified become void.
- Winner Selection: The winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries on all included prize posts from both Facebook and Instagram. The prize drawing will take place on November 4, 2025.
- Notification: The winner will be contacted directly through our official social media accounts. If the winner does not respond within 48 hours, an alternate winner will be selected.
- Privacy: Personal information collected during this giveaway will be used solely for the purpose of administering the giveaway and will not be shared or sold to third parties. Participants are advised to be cautious of scammers and should only share personal information with the official Nova Scotia Art and Craft Show Society social media accounts.
- Publicity: By entering, participants agree to allow the Nova Scotia Art and Craft Show to use their name and likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
- Disclaimer: This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Facebook or Instagram.
- Community Support: As a not-for-profit community event, we encourage participants to share this giveaway with their friends and fellow art and craft enthusiasts to help us celebrate creativity and craftsmanship together.
- Photo identification will be required for any prize collected at the Show to verify the winner’s identity.

Event Details:
Nova Scotia Art and Craft Show
Cedar Event Center, 111 Clayton Park Drive, Halifax, Nova Scotia
Friday, November 7, 2025: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday, November 8, 2025: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Eligibility:
- Open to all attendees who arrive at the show between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM on Friday and/or Saturday
- Participants must be at least 12 years of age
- Minors aged 12-17 must be accompanied by an adult
- Employees and Board Members of the Nova Scotia Art and Craft Show Society and their immediate family members are not eligible
- Limit: One entry per person per day (participants may enter on both Friday and Saturday, but only once per day)
Entry Period:
Friday, November 7: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM (AST)
Saturday, November 8: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM (AST)
How to Enter:
- Arrive at the show between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM
- Complete an entry ballot with your full name and phone number
- Place your completed ballot in the designated ballot box before 11:00 AM
Note: Ballots must include both a complete name and phone number to be eligible. Incomplete ballots will be disqualified.
Prizes:
Five (5) winners per day (10 total winners across both days)
Each winner will receive one (1) $20 shopping voucher to spend with any exhibitor at the 2025 Nova Scotia Art and Craft Show.
Voucher Terms:
- Valid only at the 2025 show on the day awarded
- Redeemable with any exhibiting maker/vendor
- Not valid at the eat-in food area in the foyer
- Not redeemable for cash
- No change given for unused portions
- Unused vouchers become void after the show
- Winners must be present at the venue to claim their prize
Winner Selection and Notification:
- Winners will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries submitted before 11:00 AM
- Prize drawing will take place at 11:15 AM each day
- Winners will be announced over the speaker system at the venue
Important:
- You must be present at the venue to win
- Winners must respond and present themselves within 30 minutes of the announcement (by 11:45 AM)
- If multiple people claim the same winning name, the person who can correctly provide the phone number associated with that ballot will be deemed the rightful winner
- Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited at 11:45 AM and alternate winners will be drawn
Privacy:
Phone numbers are collected solely for winner verification purposes. All entry ballots will be destroyed after the draw, and phone numbers will not be recorded, stored, or used for any other purpose.
50/50 Raffle – In Person At The Show
If you enter into the drawing for our 50/50 raffle by purchasing a ticket in the raffle at the show – Winners will be drawn after the show. Winner need not be present to win. We will arrange with the winner how to collect their prize.
NOTE: This raffle is NOT available online. Tickets will only be sold at the show.
Prizes are not transferable for any other prize. Accurate contact details must be provided on the entry form, NS Art and Craft Show Society is not responsible for any undelivered prizes due to lack of contact details.
50/50 Raffle – Rafflebox Online
Our online only raffle is conducted via Rafflebox. This is a separate raffle not connected to the raffle sold at the show. It will be drawn prior to the show. The online raffle is only available via Rafflebox – click here.
